Yup thanks for the links Paco.. I guess i have a thing for the lightning I like factory trucks that have those kind of numbers.. Plus i really fell for one when it pulled up next to me and just laid a patch down the road..

I forget what magazine it was did a speical on the lightning and some guys lightning did the quarter mile in like 12.92 and the viper he was going against did it in 12.95... Really Sweet!!!!

that was sport truck, and those numbers are way off, the viper would feed the lightnings butt to it in any race.

Exactly. One of my friends, who doesn't exactly know how to drive very well, ran a 12.5 in his Viper without trying.

No way a Lightning would go into the 12's stock either.

yeah the lightnings are really incredible trucks...you know what would be cool, a police package for the lightning

i wonder if gm will produce the silvarado ss??

Silverado SS is scheduled to hit lots late 2002..

I might be able to afford one by then they come with 20" rims and 4 corner air bags

I would like to see the coolside go into production so the lightning has some competition.. It would be nice with that little truck to put out almost 600 Hp

If i lived in a place where there was no snow or crap weather like we have then the lightning or while were there the harley davidson would be near the top of my list to buy but since its not a perfect world for weather I ll stick with my Z

Oh i just noticed in the first pic at the top you can see our trailer queens our ATV in the top right part of the pic.. I ve still got to get a decent pic of them one day..
