I seriously doubt it.....quite possibly aluminized though.

I believe it is stainless. I know the NBS have stainless exhaust and they seem to last forever. I don't think the 99 Burb is NBS and I don't know if the previous generation has stainless. If you have a 5.3L, it is NBS, if you have a 5.7L you have an OBS.

I have a 99 burb, I don't think its stainless. It does have some discolor, kinda like surface rust.

My gramps 96 Silverado is stainless I'm pretty sure. It's survived 10 Maine winters and still looks fine, can't be aluminized no way it'd make it that long. I had an aluminized Flowmaster cat-back on my 2003 and it only made it 2 winters before I had to replace it (with a stainless Magnaflow).

I bought my truck used and the exhaust system still look in very good shape so...I was just wondering.
