Oem Dash Paint

The dash of my 99 Silverado is starting to get some spots where the paint is coming off,mostly around the large dash trim piece that pops on,and the black plastic is showing.I'd like to be able to touch up or repaint the whole dash to match the factory grey but am not sure where to get the proper color paint.Has anyone else done this and what vendor did you use?Thanks

Drive your truck to a paint vender that the paint body shops buy there paint from and they can match the paint for you.

I've used DuPont interior dash paint to touch up a spot that I scratched and it worked perfect. Can't even tell it was ever scratched. The paint shop used the paint codes from my glove box and made a perfect match. Just make sure you clean the area before you paint it.

If you want Dupont paint check their web site it should provide info on local shops where you can get it. Also check the Yellow Pages. There is a good fella that posts here, C&A's Dad (aka Trey), he told me about a paint he used that he was pleased with. I can't remember right now what the brand name is, maybe he'll chime in on it later.

Any PPG, DuPont, Sikkens, BASF, or other paint brand can supply you with the interior paint. Look in the yellow pages or as stated, go to a good trusted body shop and see if they can help.
