Z71 Tahoe Owners

My dads looking at a new birthday present, and he's narrowed it down to either a new boat, or truck, and the truck two truck's he's narrowed down to are either a Z71 Tahoe or a Envoy... my personal favorite is the Tahoe, so i need some opinions!!! do you guys like or dislike your Tahoe z71s???

opinions would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

The Envoy is a dying vehicle and is rumored to not even be replaced now with the Acadia out. The new Tahoe is the newest technology available from GM and will have more room, more power and will be a much better option should he also end up with that new boat down the road. My parents have a TB and an Envoy and I have a GMT-900. While the Envoy and TB are nice, they are nothing like the new vehicles. Go Hoe.

thanks for the comment daddy, i appologize though, he's most likely gonna go used so that he can get a new boat down the road, the most recent one we saw was a 2004 z71 full leather full power for 15,999$ that had about 50K miles on it.. sounds like a pretty good deal to me i've personally seen the car and it is Awesome Imo...

Well then... I stil say go Hoe. You can always put less in a Hoe. You can't really make more space in an Envoy unless you want one of those sweet rooftop storage boxes.

There's no comparison. Get the Tahoe. It's 10x the vehicle the Envoy is.

thanks for the comments guys, i know the tahoe is 100X's better, he just likes both and isnt sure, but he found a really good price on an 02 with low millage and its in mint condition, so we'll see he's gonna test drive it tonight to see what he thinks!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed...

I just traded in my 05 z71 tahoe....It's a great truck! The sad part is, the envoy gets maybe 1 mpg better.....My tahoe was awesome in the snow too.....It didn't pull trailers as good as my new silverado but it still has plenty of power to pull most stuff and is super comfortable! Dont let him buy the envoy, I hate them things....they remind me of the 80's S10 blazers....it's pretty much it's replacement if u ask me, except nicer....lol....Definitly go full size!
