Do 3rd Door S10s Only Have 3 Seats?

The question is in the title. I'm thinking about getting an S10 or Somoma and want the 3rd door for sure. But, do they only have 3 seats or do they actually have 4? Where is the fourth if it has one?

My buddy has a 3 door S10, with three seats. His third door is on his drivers side so his third seat is on his left. Not much to sit on though.

Just saying I remember way back in the day, right after the new body style s-10s came out i think an uncle of mine had an s10 with 3 seats, but i always assumed he took it out to make space for a sub. He definitely had space to put another seat.

my 98 gmc sonoma has the third door on the drivers side (i think it only comes on the drivers side) and on the passenger side wall, one small seat pops out of the side. it's a tight squeeze back there though, and anyone with any size to them at all will find it next to impossible to ride in there for any real length of time...especially if the seats are reclined back. I opt to just use the space for storage, but i do have the 3rd seat if i need it in a jam. i'll try to get a pic of it for you later.

All S10 trucks that have a 3rd door only have 3 seats. Without the 3rd door there are 4 seats, with the fourth seat going where the door is.

Yup, three seats. Well, I dont know if that little folding device in the rear deserves to be reffered to as a "seat".

 

It is pretty tight back there, but is a neat design.
