Gmt900 Steering Wheel Rubbing

I have an 07 LTZ Z71 4x4 and have noticed that when the steering wheel is located dead center that if I barely move the steering wheen left or right that I feel a slight rubbing. Has anyone else noticed this in there GMT900's? Just a small annoyance.

when you say rubbing does it feel like you can almost feel the shaft grinding?

Is it rubbing on the plastic housing behind it? If so you should be able to loosen the screws and move it back just enough to clear.

It does not feel like it is grinding I might try the idea on the housing but I believe there is clearance. Feels like it is barely catching on something. Will try to take a look at it tonight and get more details on it.
