Installing Day Light Running Bulbs

My drivers side day light running bulb has blown out. I purchased the bulb but now can't figure out how to get to it . Do you have to remove the battery on these Silverado's? I have on 05' CC

If you pull your headlamp off its super easy.

 

Headlamp comes off with 2 pins pull them up, and the lens pops out.

 

 

IF its the same as the Tahoes...

The day light lamp is in the lower of the two lenses, do I have to remove the top to get to this one? Where are the pins located? Thanks

Anyone find any good, bright, long lasting LED's to replace our OE DRLs bulbs? I tried some 3157-SA LED bulbs from www.jamstrait.com back in '06 and they were too dim.

hey!!!!!!!

just went through this yesterday on my 01 tahoe. i pulled the top headlight loose to see how to get the running light out.. no need to take the top lights loose. the running lights pop out.. just get a firm hold of th light where it curves around the side and just pull very firmly but careful!! it pop's pretty loud when it comes loose. actuaaly one clip on back of light holds it. you'll be done in a couple of minutes
