Remove Bedliner To Remove Bed?

I am going to be lifting/removing my bed to replace my fuel pump. Do you have to remove the bedliner to get the bolts loose? I know the nuts are underneath, but I do not know if you have to take the liner out and have someone to hold them while taking off the nuts. Thanks!!

GM has not had exposed bolt heads in the bed since 1988.

Ok. I haven't ever had the liner out and haven't looked in any other beds, so I had no idea what the bolt heads look like. Thanks!

Just a hint, Hit the bolts with some penetrating oil like "kroil" or "wd-40" before you got down there and knock those things off.... I just started the same project.... I unplugged the rear harness, got EIGHT bolts loose and am ready to lift and slide it back a few feet. Put a 1x6 on the rear bumper so when u set the bed down on it it doesnt mark up and bend the wraps on the sheet metal....The hardest part was getting the fuel fill hose off the neck of the elbow from the door................

Just finished replacing my fuel pump a couple of hours ago, and lifted the bed to do it. It wasn't too bad really, but I did learn one thing... TAKE IT OFF THE RAMPS BEFORE TRYING TO MOVE IT!!! We tried it while on the ramps and that was a serious PITA... especially when I pushed it accidentally and hit the back of my cab... oh well, little dent and a couple scratches... had to have some battle scar from the project... Used PB Blaster and those bolts came out lickety-split... Use a 3/8 drive socket with extensions and an 18" piece of galvanized pipe as my cheater bar... nothing to it really :P
