ON the buy it now.. I found a Magnaflow single side exit exhaust on ebay the seller has a buy it now of $479 and also has a best offer link I offered him $380 just for s**ts and grins.. He countered back with $440... Just wondering if that's a good price... That is with free shipping and so far the best I have found..

 

Or should I just add a muffler? How much power can I expect out of a cat back over just a muffler (magnaflow)

 

 

BTW I plan on putting on a outlaw intake with a Wait 4 me tune and some 22" wheels also..

i have the wait4me tune and a true flow CAI on my 07 5.3 and it rocks....if you have any questions about it pm me..as far as the magnaflow goes...i really like the sound of them but I dont trust ebay all the time. Is it used? what dia pipe is it? I went with corsa's sport dual system and love it. you dont have to remove the spare tire and it looks and sounds mean. Just compare prices before you buy. The corsa systems are pricey...retail for 1000 bones but I got mine from an autorized distributor for 880 with free shipping. thats for stainless. Good luck!

Your never going to gain more than 10hp from any cat back/muffler swaps on a factory motor, or anything close to it. Is it a side exiting exhaust on ebay, as in tips coming out behind the doors? Or a factory looking magnaflow system? If it's a factory looking magnaflow system, I'd just buy the Magnaflow muffler and swap it with the old one. Just paint the welds with some Hi Temp Paint, because they will rust in a matter of no time.

You can go down to almost any local exhaust joint and get a Magnaflow welded in place of your stocker for well under $200.
