Gmc 3500 Hd Security Light Flashing

I have a serious problem with a Chevy 3500 HD. This is happening more and more often these days.

 

Sometimes when I try to turn on the truck, the security light starts flashing and it won't turn on. I can hear the engine crank, but no ignition occurs. Before I've disconnected both my batteries and that solved the problem, but it continues to reoccur. Now after disconnecting the batteries and re-connecting, the truck still will not turn on. Right now it's stranded in my driveway.

 

This problem is becoming a very big hassle and any help would be appreciated as to how to get the truck to turn on, and longer term how to fix the problem.

Security problems are not that easy to fix. Even when you have found out the faulty part the system has to be reprogamed. Bite the bullet and do yourself a favor and tow it to the dealer.

Agree 100%. Probably the pass-lock sensor but it needs to be diaged.
