Deal Or No Deal?

Thinking about purchasing a brand new '07 Sierra SLT, 1500, CC, with a leveling kit, aftermarket wheels, billet grill, running boards, spray-in bedliner for $38,750. Dealer claims MSRP plus add-on's is over $46K. Deal or no deal with $38,750? What do you think? Thanks.

on a leftover 07?

Invoice for a base SLT 4WD crew is around $35,800 with $2500 incentive

So at the very least the base should be around $33,300. I myself would start at $35,800 - $500 - Advertising (around $620) then minus $2500 incentive. That places the addons asking for around $6000.

Are those addons worth $5000-$6000 to you?

Ask for the dealers invoice to even start price negotiations, if they refuse just walk. They'll almost certainlly called you the next day begging for you to come back in. I would probably push even more since it's a leftover, throw in bedliner, level kit and grille.

Anyways that's what I'd do. Don't ever show your drooling when dealing with them, just maintain a take it or leave deal attitude. Plus it's sounding a little like an impulse buy????

Agreed, ask for the invoice.

We have dealers in my area with 100's of new leftover 2007's.

Always be prepared to walk.
