Interesting Idle Trouble

Okay fellas, about 3 or 4 months ago I replaced the AC compressor (and all necessary parts with it), throttle position sensor and finally the Idle Air Control valve. After a bit I noticed my check engine light continued to flash for IAC, but AutoZone told me to drive it for 100 miles or so and the ECM should reset.

I've been busy as hell with school, so I hadn't really had much time to deal with it, but my check engine light still comes on. I then noticed that my idle would come up when my air conditioning would shut off, and and then when I turned my AC on the idle would drop back to normal idle.

When the AC is off the SES light comes on, but when I turn the AC on the light shuts off. Does this sound like a faulty valve? I was thinking that there maybe an issue with wiring somewhere. I can't see how I could have connected it improperly, but the harness is original. Has anyone had to replace the main wire harness in their trucks before? Anyone have any ideas?

The truck in question is a 94' RCSB 4.3/4L60. Mileage about 215,000.

EDIT - I came across this post from Chevy Truck World. Sound legit?

"I changed mine also. you can adjust the iac pull the spring down and screw the needel down or up. look at your old one and see the diff. in hight I played with mine for alittle while to get it right."

is there an adjustment on the throttle position sensor?

Nope. The TPS goes on pretty much one way. You have to slightly clock it a little bit in order to get it on, but I was told by GM that is correct.
