Im debating on these gears when throw on 35's. I dont want to lose any power and would actually like to gain a ibt of low end but compared to my stock 3.42 weiner gears i should be ok regardless. Im wondering which set up is best for mix city highway (70/30) driving. Also can I reuse the stock locker in the rear? Lastly what is a good locker to put up front? This an 07 NBS CC w/ 4.8L BTW.

4.10's it is, and ill go with a new (Stronger) locker in the rear also. Im glad this post was so popular. LOL

4.10 would best suite you. Also an after market locker in the rear whould be an added bonus. As fo the front diff, a limited slip or an actuated(Air,cable, elec) locker would work. A full time locker in the front will cause more harm than good.

what brand/model locker ould you suggest for the rear? I was thinking ARB air locker for the front but not sure about the rear.

It depends. Do you plan on towing at all or hauling huge loads? If most of your driving is going to be city i'd go 4.56's, especially if you're going to be towing anything.

But in another thread you said you're thinking about FI. If you're really serious about getting a blower then i'd go 4.10's because the blower will more than make up for your power loss, especially down low where you'll need it. Also, you'll get slightly better MPG on the FREEWAY w/4.10's and when the blower is in bypass.
