Instant Fuel Econ Setting?

Hey there, I got an '05 2500HD 6.0L with the DIC. I have got to know the truck alot since I got it in April, but theres still a few things I dont know about, I seen on some videos of vettes and some Silverados having an Inst Econ option in their information display showing the exact fuel economy they are getting at their speed, How do I switch to this mode? I see everything listed but only get AVG Econ.

  I am sure the Dorman pan will be just fine, should hopefully slip in just like the factory pan without surprises although I've never actually talked to anyone that has installed one so I am just assuming it should fit, you will soon find out. Like I said I honestly figured these companies would poo poo the gas engine for aftermarket parts for the transmission pan wise simply because the meat and potatoes market is the Duramax due to them being the trucks that more often then not would be asked to tow really heavy weights and be looking for more oil capacity and cooling. I never happened to hear any words one way or the other by any company including PPE as per a plan to build a L8T version of the trans pan and so was surprised when I came across that the other day. I assume the pan you bought cost less anyway as these specialty companies like PPE, Banks etc sure don't give their products away.

  have you considered it's an electrical problem, that you just temporarily fixed by moving the wiring and/or cleaning off the connector by disconnecting/connecting it?

  you might wish to use the right bolts, and may need to replace the nuts, if you prefer the seat stays in place in the event of a collision.
