i have a 2007 NBS tahoe. i bought it with the bose radio. on ebay i see an offer for a complete navigation radio including ant and cd for 1200. can i retrofit my tahoe to accept these radios and how long should it take. can the dealer do it for me?

Yes, if you have the factory BOSE, it can be done. There are a few things you will need: the vehicle speed sensor wire that can be purchsed from jpcustoms.com for around $45 or so. They send you the instructions to install it, which takes about 30-45 minutes to install. Next, you need the Nav unit. It is plug and play, plus the GPS antenna (about $70 at the dealer), and the map DVD. After it is installed, you MUST go to the dealer and have it programmed. I have a 2007 Nav unit w/the DVD player option for the rear seat entertainment system (not required for it to work) that I am looking to sell. I also have the map DVD. PM me for more info.
