Side Out Exhaust Question

My father (rwritter) has a 95 Sierra short bed flair side he is redoing. He is putting a new 350 V8 5.7 and he is trying to get the exhaust system set-up. Any suggestions on header type? Also we are considering side out exhaust coming out behind the cab. We are looking for one pipe to each side which splits for dual tips on both sides. Do you know if any company makes a set-up for this? Is this doable? What are you general thoughts on this set-up.
