Tire Size Questions...

On my '01 2500 Silverado D/A, I am considering switching from a 245/75R16 to a 265/75R16 sized tire.

What would be the positive and negative consequences of this move?

I don't mind a slight speedometer/odometer variance, but I do not want to mess up computer mapping, rear-end gear ratio, or handling.

The truck is mostly on pavement between 55-75 mph.

Just go for it and never look back. Keep in mind that the speedo will say 60 but you'll be going 62.3... otherwise have at it! Not enough size differenct to worry over.
