Im stumped! I have a 2002 silverado 2500hd with the 8.1.The past few weeks,on 2 separate occasions,id be driving at a normal speed,then out of the blue,id lose all power for s spit second,in the same manner that occurs when you go over the speed limiter,and the fuel cuts out.But i dont think its that,it seems more like some sort of a short or something,and i do notice the battery light coming on in the message center when this happens.Has anyone experienced this before,or happen to know if theres a service bulliten on this? Any help is appreciated!

hey Tony, you posted in the LD section, you have an HD truck, but what I would check would be the Fuel System, Ignition System, as well as your onboard sensors to see if anything is loose, worn or damaged.
