First Gear To Second Gear Jerk.

Now it seems to be doing it all the time. Going from the first gear to the second gear it will jerk very hard now. I know GM said this is normal, but it's really becoming annoying now and embarassing. Does anyone know if GM will replace this?

From my experience, GM won't replace the transmission until it is just not working. We had a 4L60E that was significantly slipping and our goddam GM dealership said it was normal operation.

Just keep driving hard and wait awhile. Based on the trailblazer SS sites, failure of these 4L70E's shouldn't taken too long, quite a few of theirs are failing within 10000 miles of purchasing....without any mods. I'm only at 4000 miles and my transmission is already starting to act really weird and I've also got a GMT 900 Vmax.

I forsee a FLT Level 5 transmission in my near future.

"I know GM said this is normal, but it's really becoming annoying now and embarassing. Does anyone know if GM will replace this?" yes I think if you still have warrenty or extended warrenty they will replace the transmission or fix it. But don't tell them you did burnouts
