Ng With A 86 C10 A/c Mode Door ?

Hello. I replaced a leaking heater core in my 1986 C10 5.0L with Factory A/C.The mode door is vacuum actuated.The rod from thr mode door also connectes to another door inside the HVAC box.This rod is adjustable.During the heater core replacement I let the rod pop out of its clip and loose its adjustment.It didn't leave a mark where it had been.So I messed with it to get it as close as I could.But I feel its not right.Anybody have the correct adjustment procedure.Thank you KA

I have taken a couple of pictures of what I'm asking about.In the picture you see the rod which at connection (A) is attached to the top of door at allows air in to the center vents of the dash.The rod connects to (B) the second door.These door have to be timed or the come in contact with each other.I have them close.But there has to be a factory adjustment prosedure somewhere.Thanks
