Gmt900 - Gmpp Hood Deflector

I like mine, but make sure to buy a small roll of double sided weatherstrip tape. You'll need it for under the right side windshield molding to keep it from "flapping" in the breeze. Don't ask me why it's only needed on the right (pass) side, but it is.

I have both the hood and window deflectors on my truck. I love them, since the hood has a large front piece rocks were hitting it frequently. The window on the passenger does tend to shake a bit so I am going to have to add some double stick tape.

I lke mine white on white. Didn't need the tape on mine.

You will, trust me. Especially at 70+ mph and/or in high winds.

I thought I didn't have the problem either. But when driving across Kansas with a stout crosswind, it happened. Tape fixed it.

The hood deflector is great, but they are all right about the moulding needed to be taped. I actually did someting diffrent, and got them to put a bead of urathane (or some sort of window adhesive) under the moulding at the glass shop. Cant evern tell the diffrence.
