I have it. I can't compare it to any other since it's the first one I've tried. But from my experience it's amazing. Alot more torque and power and fuel economy.

Unfortunatly, after the first update I made, via thier website, I can't seem to tune the truck anymore. I keep getting an "Vehicule did not repond" message.

Does anyone know what I should do ?

I just picked up a Cortex about 2 weeks ago. Did you do the updates before you did your first tune? Have you tried de-tuning back to stock and then re-tune? The only complaint I have is that Superchips haven't made the data aquisition software yet for the GM units (they have it for most Fords).

Good to see some feedback on this unit. I believe it's the one I will get - seems to be about $400. Thanks to all for posting, and when the re-flashing issue is figured out, please post what was found for the other user's benefit! :)

I have researched this too much and came down to the Hypertech max energy. It is more conservative than anything out there but is problem free and the safest route on the market from what I can tell.

You can search this and will find many members here with custom tunes and the general concensus is that is the way to go. However, a custom tune is not for everyone and not what I am looking for.

Search the subject and you will find a lot of info.
