Trip/odometer Reset....

How the heck do i reset my trip odometer?! I have an '08 Silverado LT! I haven't seen a push style button on the IP. I read the manual but it says "If equipped with DIC"

Well there will either be a stick in the IP just to the right of the readout. Otherwise you have the DIC switches (the four buttons that are stacked with a check and the bottom). Click the top button until see the trip mileage, next press the check button and it should reset, if not press and hold the check button for a couple of seconds and it should reset. Hope this works.

d**n found it near the top. Every GM car i have own have had it near the gauge.

Thanks for this posting. I just purchased a 2008 Silverado work truck and I had read the manual, couldn't find the trip odometer button, and this was driving me crazy. I wasn't able to locate mine until I saw your photo. My dash background is black with a black trip odometer button. To top it off the steering wheel was also blocking my view of it.

Yep. I had the same problem. Couldn't find it at first. They could have made the button slightly off color for easy find. But I guess black is best.
