2500hd Struck By Lightning?

Hi guys I have a few questions concerning a truck I bought. It's a 2005 2500HD crew cab. It's a 6.0, auto, 4x4, etc. I bought it from an insurance company and it was claimed to have lightning damage. Truck had no signs of being hit by lightning like some I have seen. The body is mint, didn't pop the tires, etc. Whatever shop did the estimate before they totalled it must have tried getting it going. When I got it the cluster, pcm, bcm, radio, etc were pulled out. They also had the front door panels off, probably because the windows don't work. So when I got the truck I plugged everything back in, charged the battery and tried to start it to see what I was working with. Well the truck turned over and started for a sec then died. Then it would never start again after that, it just cranked over. So I did some checking. The fuel pump was not kicking on. Took the relay out and jumped it and the pump kicked on, so I know the pump is good. The relay is also good. It's just not getting a signal to kick on. With the relay jumped it would start for a few seconds then die. That's probably a passlock issue. So what different things give the pump a signal to kick on? Is it just the pcm? Does the bcm have anything to do with it? Can I assume the pcm is good since I heard the truck run or can it still be fried? I'm pretty sure the bcm is bad because it felt warm and I took it apart and there is a black spot on the board. What all would the bcm control? The interior lights work, headlights work, radio does NOT do anything, the needle lights work on the cluster but other than that it's dead, the power mirrors, windows, etc do NOT work. The blower fan speed works but the vent control doesn't seem to work. Does the bcm affect this stuff? Any other modules that control any of this? I though maybe the drivers side wondow switch was bad and allowed the rest of the doors to be dead. Not sure. Also, can I just get a used bcm, pcm, cluster, etc from a junkyard and plug them in and go? I'm sure I will have to do a passlock relearn but would there be any additional programming from a dealer needed? I would like to keep it from the dealer if I can. Can the modules come from different years and models? I thought I would try to get any components if I can all from the same vehicle so they wil all match but who knows. Could the ignition be causing me any problems? Sorry for all the questions. Any answers, thoughts, info, etc you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated! I would like to get this thing to atleast start and move then I can tackle the small things like radio and windows after. Thanks alot.
