Which One Of These Tire & Wheel Packages?

Ok, I found some good deals on e-bay.

Both have 265/70-17 Nitto Terra grappler tires.

One has black Helo MAXX 6 wheels.

The other has Moto Metal 951 chromes.

My dad has agreed to pay the difference between the 2. WHich means I can get the chrome wheels for the same price as the blacks.

 

I just dont know what would look better on my white truck??

Do you have pictures of your truck posted anywhere, so we can see what it looks like, as-is? (i.e. any bed rails, side steps, etc)

Both sets look pretty nice. What color / type of truck do you have? It could make a big difference.

 

Edit: After pulling my head out... I see your truck is white. (read the post dummy ) I think chrome wheels would look a ton better than black on a white truck.

I am personally hooked on Moto Metal Wheels. As a matter of fact, that is what I am looking at for my truck. Go with the 951's. They would look great

A guy on another site said the chrome 951's chip easily and get to looking bad after a while. Can anyone comment on this?

 

Zembonez, people have been telling me chrome would look better, but Im just not sure. I know I want a drastic change in the look of the truck.

I just hope that the chrome 951's will be distinct.

I like the black....I think it looks good on white....alot more people have chrome so you would be diff.

I've been trying to Photochop those wheels onto your truck. But, that machine is giving me fits today. Apparently, a recent update of something use hosed Photoshop... grrr...

 

My 2 cents on it ... I'm not normally a fan of black wheels and I'm not really a big fan of that particular style of wheel. However... If you're looking for something that will stand out more than blend in... and if you're looking for something a little more 'drastic' (I believe I saw that word used??)... I'd probably go with the black ones w/ with the chrome trim / accents. You see all-black and all-chrome wheels all the time. The black & chrome is a little different from what "most" people do.

 

Maybe someone else, with better Photoshop skills and/or a machine that isn't being tempermental will have better luck 'chopping those wheels onto your truck, so you can get an idea of what it'd look like.

No problem! Sorry they didn't turn out better. After looking at the outcome of the pictures and seeing what others are posting with the chrome wheels, I'm leaning back more towards the chrome wheels as being the way to go. Obviously, it's your truck though! Pick what you like!
