Gauges--new And Or White

I have 99 GMC Sierra and I have two questions:

1. Am I able to put in a gauge set from a newer (03-06) Sierra or Silverado? As in will it plug and play with the possibility of having to get it reprogrammed.

2. Does ANYBODY know where I can get white-faced gauges (like the ones from the Joe Gibbs Silverados) and not the ones that light up with that civic-like look of a neon color.

I put a white face overlay in my old '01 HD. I don't remember where i got it, but it was an easy install and cost around $100. It really was a classy look!
