Need A New Bumper

Ok I backed into a stone wall last week in a snow storm. the drivers side of my rear bumper has a big dent in it. I was going to just order a new steel bumper and paint it to match . Or would a ss rear bumper fit my nbs? any thoughts or sugestions

No, I doubt it will work as the frames are a lot different and I believe the body wouldn't match up quite right.

You don't need a bumper if you just dented the metal. These come apart into a bunch of different parts. What you need is a paint to match rear bumper left end cap. Its on gmpartsdirect for $121. I have the part number somewhere from when I got rearended.

On my older trucks, I have purchased aftermarket rear bumpers. They worked fine. Might have been made in Taiwan.

Went to the body shop today. Im getting two prices. one to just replace the left side of the chrome rear bumper and one to paint every thing white .front and rear + mirrors. What would you do?
