Ok heres what happened... my battery went dead. i disconnected it and it stayed that way over night, the next day i went and got a new battery... i hooked everything up and got inside started my truck up and set the clock on the radio... then i noticed my control pannel for the a/c was on a/c and set to blow cold air through the vents in front of the driver... but instead if was blowing hot air throught the defroster.... I don't know where to start... it was fine before the battery swap so i know that had something to do with it. I would rather not take it to the dealer unless i have no choice.

This is a common issue, unfortunately I can't remember the fix. Try disconnecting the battery again and see if it corrects itself.

I read somewhere that you disconnect the battery and than step on the brake to reset the computer. Could be for some other vehicle. But might as well give it a try.

Well i came out to the shop this morning and thought i would start it up and see what happens... i let it sit and idle for a few mins and i guess the problem worked itself out it seems to be working fine now... thanks for the input. So i guess if your truck goes crazy after a battery swap don't panic like I did.
