Protecting My Wheels

Does anyone have any good ideas for protecting your wheels from the road salt?

I've heard everything from spray on Pam to just waxing. Really depends on what kind of finish they have...

NOTHING compares with very regular washing to remove the salt as soon as possible.

I agree. The only thing you can do to protect them is to wash them frequently. However, after the winter, they still won't be the same. :)

I would consider getting a cheap set of simple black steel rims with some more agressive tires for the winter.

After 9 years of service I start getting some corrosion issues with my rims too. And my California vehicle saw some snow (Utah) only once.
