Factory Mp3

OK guys I have the factory Nav unit , been trying to burn some mp3 disc. First Run had 50 some of folders the d**n thing wouldn't even try to read it all. Now the second disc have 1 folder 150 so songs but only reads to 38 then starts back to 1. Is there a limit to folders and songs per folder on the factory systems ?

Are you sure you are burning Mp3s and not WMAs?

I have disks with 15 or so folders but only one level deep, easily 150 songs. I can't remember having as many as 38 songs in a folder. I don't have the NAV but the single CD player with the MP3 capability. The manual does discourage going too many sub folders deep.

 

Try burning one with no folders or break it up with 20-30 songs per folder.
