Rough Idiling

When you come to a full stop or if the truck is just sitting there, the engine will become very rough and will literally start shaking the truck. It will move from side to side sometimes. Is this normal?

Is that when you first start up and go or running for awhile? My truck does that when I start it in the morning and throws up service lights. I need to get it scanned.

Take oit to the dealer and get it fixed. Its under warranty.

It happens when its first started up or if its started for a really long time and I come to a stop.

I agree with Redvett, it should not be doing this and the dealer can fix it.

Is it thowing codes? And which engine?

I always allow my truck to warm up for 2+ min before driving it when its very cold outside, 45 seconds to a min when its warm outside. Never noticed any rough idling.

 

He has the V-Max.
