2000 Blazer Trouble, Help Please

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer, which I recently took for a NY state vehical Inspection. I failed the inspection because the Catalyst Monitor and the Secondary Air System Monitors both read incomplete on the OBD Test, no codes or other sensors failed. I have runn the Blazer over 400 miles trying to get the sensors to complete a drive cycle but no change. Can anyone help solve this in any way? Have I not driven far enough? Thanks

Does it reach operating temperature normally(t-stat possibly).

Yes it does. It reaches operating temp completely normally. Truck runs completely fine, no trouble starting or running, just this refusal by the Secondary Air System sensor and Catalyst Monitor to complete a drive cycle.
