Hids In Fogs

hey guys i finally did hids in my fogs... i have the 07 chevy nbs and i found out that the 880 bulbs fit right in the foglight housing... all i did was glue it in and silicone around it... i will post some pics later.... hopefully this helps some people out

Which HID system did you use?? Where did you mount the balasts?? Guess i am not familiar with the "880 bulb"

i used a german hid kit that i got from hidexpress on craigslist... i mounted the ballasts beside the foglights via the bolts all ready there.... the 880 bulb was used in the previous generation of chevy trucks

Check my fog light upgrade link in my signature. 9005's work well, without glue and silicone since the o-ring is the same size.

Check my fog light upgrade link in my signature. 9005's work well, without glue and silicone since the o-ring is the same size.

hey Daddy, i saw your fog light upgrade and it was a great upgrade... i was just uncomfortable trying to grind a hid bulb... so i found that the 880 fit in their perfectly, and all i needed was a little glue just to hold it in place... then siliconed around it so no water gets thru... the bulb was in there tight, the silicone was overkill but i wanted to make sure
