Intake Manifold Gasket

I have a 99' Chevy Suburban 4x4 that has 98,xxx miles. I've been through 4 IMG over the last 4-5 years and it's leaking again. It was replaced about the same time last year and the shop who changed it said that the gasket they put in last year was the "fix all / last gasket". I have read forums and have discussed this with several mechanics and everyone says the same thing, the 350 is prone to this problem. What gives, dropping five to six hundred bucks a year in this gasket is getting old. Is there something else I can be doing to eliminate this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have the "new" gasket and it has been installed for 18 months or so with no issues. I would look at the condition of the heads and intake for corrosion damage that is ruining the gaskets due to heating/cooling cyclic movement. I have noticed this damage on several that I have changed. I cleaned then up and used JBKwik to fill then in. I haven't had and issues yet. I feel that is isn't a gasket issue. It is either mechanical or installer issue. Thats my .02.
