Skyhigh,

What'd you think of the '95? I just sold mine. Bought it in '96 with 13K miles on it and beat it, er uh, drove it every day up till September when I got my '07. Put 180K miles on it. I never really had any big issues with it, except for the evap coil under the dash. THAT was an s.o.b. to replace. It ran and ran and ran. I really miss that truck. Very dependable.

GO back and forth between drive and reverse. You should here a little clunk when they go in gear. If it feels like it slips and bearly goes in without moving the truck its likely it will need rebuilt or replaced soon.

Look for rust under the door jams. Check the body mounts, frame where it meets the suspension components. Listen to the ideling. there should be very little shutter in the engine. Also look at the trans oil. Smell it. It should not smell burnt. Check the engine oil for color and or metal flakes.

Did I cover it all??
