Assistance Requested

I am not sure what the problem is so I figured id ask here and see if anyone can maybe answer my question or help me determine the problem, my mirrors are powered mirrors and the switch used to make em go left and right, up and down does not work, the mirror doesnt go any direction, now is this the switch that is shot or the motor or what ? I would like to do the work myself if it's at all possible so I don't have to shell out a crap load of money at the dealer to get it fixed, anyone who may know please chime in, also if it is a problem that would need a dealer to fix what would it possibly run to get it fixed. No, but what would make the fuse go on the mirror when there is nothing else connected to it that I am aware, I will check thought.

When you toggle the switch from drivers to passengers mirror, does the problem persist? If it does I bet that both mirrors would not die at the same time, the switch would be more likely.

True...I just wouldnt think the switch would completely go bad overnight. I have had them not work one direction or the other, but not just completely stop working instantly.
