Climbing A Ladder

I ran across a couple pics today and wondered if anybody would venture on such a ladder with a loaded tool belt and a couple 2x4's:

The ladder is a little bent, not secured very well, but with a little care, you could make it I guess:

This second pic is the same shot, but zoomed out to give you sense of how high it is:

It's 158 storeys up, 600 meters or approx. 2,000 ft.

Would you climb it?

How much money are we talking here?

Climbing up would be easy, it's climbing back down that's the problem. :sigh:

I wouldnt climb it....but I would take one of those elevators on the side like everyone else...lol

When I was much younger I worked for a fab shop that made the AC duct for high rise buildings. Tallest building I ever went on was 68 stories and the elevator would shake like crazy due to wind. I never really was scared or nervous though.

However, now that Im older I find my self nervous just to put christmas lights on the eve of my 2 story house....weird huh?

I'm not afraid of heights, so I'd do it.

I'd rather jump off it with one of those webbed suits and a parachute though.

What a base jump THAT would be. Let's go Mike.

Okay. Do we even know where that place is? Do I need to renew my passport?

It's in Dubai... wherever the hell that is.

Oooh...Dubai is AWESOME. I've not even been there in 10 years, and that place has just exploded with some cool stuff since then. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I get pretty shakey when I have to go up over 30 feet, I would never climb that.

On a completely different subject, I love those Dune Grapplers you got man.
