Easy Question But Im Confused

Just picked up a 2007 Chevy silverado 1500 LT, new body style. I have a question about the dash. Am I able to see what mpg I'm averaging? or do I just see the mileage digitally? I can't find out how to switch it and I haven't got the owners manual yet. Sorry for such a dumb question. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if you have the Driver Information Center "DIC" or not. If you do, then there will be a vertical row of 4 buttons to the left of the tach. The top button will toggle between instant and avg MPG among other things. If you don't have this, you may want to consider getting it. Search "DIC upgrade" for much info on it. The upgrade is only about $100. Otherwise hit the top button.

Ah gotcha, yea I don't have the 4 rows of buttons but I have the one in the top right corner but it just does oil life, trip, etc but not mpg. Thanks for the info on the upgrade
