i was driving from a stop.. when i lost second. tranny has never slipped. fluid is about due for a change. level is ok.

i believe the tranny is a 4L60. i found no faults, obviously. TV cable is adjusted properly. i have 1st,3rd and 4th. i removed the trans pan today... no metal particles found. i inspected 2 and 4 apply pistons..seals and springs all look ok. i think my next step is to remove the valve body to see if i have a shift valve stuck, any help?!?!?! thanks
