You need at least 17" wheels, which you have got. But the bolt pattern should be 6x5.5" (or 6x5-1/2") to fit your truck. That's the GM six-bolt pattern.

 

Also, you should look for 4-1/2" backspacing and zero offset.

 

That's the standard gm truck wheel. If you go to www.americanracing.com, for example, you'll see that this combination (6x5.5", 4.5" backspace, zero offset) is a "stock" combination for gm products.
