Led Tailgate Lightbars

I was looking for some input on which light bar to buy. I’ve seen several different versions on-line.

There’s the standard red and white from Putco, Recon and Plasmaglow. I also see that Pacer has one out with amber turn signals instead of red and APC has one out with sequential turn signals.

I’ve read good things about both the Recon and Plasmaglow’s Fire & Ice. Haven’t read any thoughts on the other three. I know Putco has been big in the accessory line for awhile but really unfamiliar with their electrical prowess as it were. My truck does have amber turn signals but I’m not sure how that’s going to look in LED form. And APC... I kind of like the uniqueness of the sequentials but I haven’t heard much about APC in awhile. Trying to search for them on-line the only thing I can find are the fines the Government put on them for their clear taillights. Can’t even find a homepage.

The only warranty details I have seen is Plasmaglow’s lifetime warranty. That’s a rather big plus considering that on 60 inches of light bar that’s a whole lot of LEDs to potentially burn out.

So what I guess I’m asking for is your real world experiences with these bars and companies, and any others that may be out there. Good, bad or indifferent your thoughts are appreciated!

I got mine off Ebay, it was a Rampage...paid 68 dollars for it. Its got running, turn, reverse, and brake lights all hooked up on it. Seems to be doing a good job.
