No 4 Wheel Drive In 02 1500 Z71!

So after all the bad weather here in Ohio, I finally got around to trying out my 4 wheel drive in my new but used '02 Z71.

I just doesn't turn the front tires. I took it to a tire dealer and they put it up on the rack and the front tires turned then. So

he took it out in the snow and nothing. I just installed a new actuator and still nothing. What else should I check?

I had the exact same problem with my 03 z71 first time i took it out. I took it to the dealer and they said the 4wd appeared to work fine when it was put on the lift. I had to put the back tires in sand to prove the fronts weren't pulling. Anyway, after taking it back several times they took apart the differential and found that the actuator rod(im not sure exactly what it was called) was bent and wasnt able to seat correctly and therefore didn't lock the 4wd. He said it was rare and the reason it took so long was it didn't trigger any trouble codes. After having that replaced its worked perfect since. Hope that helps.
