Plug Wires

on my 2004 gmc 5.3l so i never paid attention to which wire was on which cyclinder if anybody can tell me which wire goes were i would really appreciate it.

This is all that i can find written on the plug wires. Know i have found that three of the wires the ceramic piece in the end that plugs on to the coil pack are yellow and they wont stay on the coil pack do i have a bad coils.

Im not clear on what you are asking.......did you pull the wires off and now you are not sure which wires go which coil pack?

I don't think the wires make any difference which coil they go on. I have replaced the coil wires on a few different GM 800 engines with no problems, except the stock wires are a pain to get off! Just by a good new set and replace them all.

ok thank you its just all the different # on the plug wires made me think that each wire had a coil to got to.this is just the first truck that i have done all the maintance on my self and don't want to screw up thank you for you help :D
