New Cai Intake

Alright I've seen a few threads recently regarding CAI brands. I know everybody has seen the GMPP intakes but don't know how many have seen the Volant intakes. So I thought I'd post mine up. Very straight forward install. It only took me about 15 minutes or so. The GM monstrosity was another story but I got it done. Its a dry filter for anybody that asks and I'm pretty sure it can be upgraded to the Volant Powercore filter which supposedly can go 100,000 miles without cleaning. They don't have a ram air tube yet but as soon as they do, I'll put it on. Paid 279.99 including free shipping off ebay. I don't know how much it helped performance or mpg wise since I have an exhaust and I just installed the tune a few weeks before the CAI but it did really wake up the exhaust. Looks good, im thinking about getting an INJEN on mine but cant decide for sure. anyone have an INJEN?

loos good. i'm hopefull gonna be getting one in a week or two after i put some exhaust on my truck. Cand you tell any difference in power or not really??

I can't really say. My tune has just finally gotten dialed in so I can't really say what has done what.

Looks good. I wondered what was under some of those Volant Covers. I have an AEM Brute Force on my truck and really enjoy it.
