I debadged the side molding. What a job it was. The first ones are the before ones. What do you guys think? Sorry about the cell pictures. Some pictures show the wax I was putting on it. Thanks

Looks good! BTW what is that upside-down thing? It's hard to tell - almost looks like a Parisienne or a GTO but shrunk somehow....

No offense, but I'm not really a fan of removing the side molding. I think it makes it look like a base model truck, and the molding will protect the door from some dings. Just my opinion though, if you like it, that's all that matters.

I didn't remove the tailgate emblems or the z71 emblems. I took them off because they had to repaint them and they did such a s**tty job at the dealership, they looked like hell.

Well, IMO, you ought to. You're already half way to a nice clean look! At least the Z71 since the sides of the truck are so clean now.

Yep, I agree. The molding actually looks nice on those trucks. Not too much, not too little.

Yup. All Daddy has to do is to de-chrome his mirrors.

Just kidding!!! :D Seriously Daddy, that is one sharp looking truck.

Thanks. My truck is an SLE and the factory mirror caps were the flat black plastic ones. I had these tossed on, and the handles before I left the lot with her. I would love to have the painted ones but these look very nice and I can't see replacing them for the sake of it.

I think it looks way better without the moldings. I also took them off on my 2006 and it looked way better like that. I don't think it makes the truck look base without, look at the SS it doesn't have the moldings and it is fully loaded

Actually the chrome mirrors balance it out nicely. I think they look better than painted ones would.

I got chrome moldings on the side of my sierra, and have always debated what it would look like without them. However it's a black truck, and chrome always looks good with black trucks.
