Sierra Nfl Package

So I stumbled onto this forum while doing some research on my new truck. I currently have a 2005 Chev 1500 ext cab Z-71, and lease is coming due very soon. GMC has a NFL edition which I believe includes the 20" alum wheels and tuned suspension. Does anyone have experience with this option; and if so how do you like it???? I personally felt that Chevys Z-71 suspension gave a better ride than their base suspension, so I'm wondering how this one might be. Thanks - and Hopefully I'll be posting pics in this forum of my new truck.

Yeah, I bought one last week. To explain how much better this suspension is, I let my wife drive it two days ago and she thinks it rides better than her car. So yes it is a big improvment to the base model. I traded a 06 Z71 for it and it rides much better than any Z71 i have been in.

It includes the "Z60" package (High-Performance Suspension)

However you do not need to get the NFL package just to get the Z60 suspension pkg.

If you get the 20 inch rims, i think the z60 suspension is standard. Not sure though

Yep,I shoulda' said that....If you get the factory 20's,you get the Z60 suspension.

Thanks guys.... I really like the look of the truck; especially with the wheels. And there's a saver pac (discount on the package) so the MSRP of the package residualizes on a lease so the differance isnt all that much in the monthly payment. Has anyone had experience with those tires in the snow?

no experience with snow here in Louisiana, but i just picked up a Sierra with the southern states package, very similar to the NFL package, w/o the team badging, and yes the 20's and the high performance suspension was part of the package.
