Ok guys, i was told to come here to ask my question. Ive been having some problems with my stock head unit not wanting to load a cd, the cd does not go all the way into the player. Im thinking about purchasing a new aftermarket unit, but i have the audio controls on my steering wheel. Is it possible to install an aftermarket unit and the buttons stil work? Can anyone help me out here, tell me what i need? Thanks.

Just look on Crutchfield.com or else call them. They will tell you EXACTLY what to get, and what will be the easiest for you to install. Another good site that has a HUGE wealth of info is www.the12volt.com

Yes, you can buy the PAC-SWI - X to keep all your factory whistles and chimes etc. Check the site just in case they added new ones. I installed the one posted and it works like a charm. It goes with my after market Panasonic DVD player.

Yes I have an 05 aswell, you need to get a aftermarket CD player that remote output options, aswell you will need the PAC- SWI-X AND a data retention module to keep your chimes, and not to mention your antenna adapter. I just bought all this stuff and my bill came up to $195+ my Kenwood KDC-X791 Deck that was 300+. Oh i forgot to say i got most of it from crutchfield except the housing there's suck nuts. hope this helps
