Rewire Tailights

As the title says, can anyone provide insight on how to rewire the rear end of the silverado so that the entire tailight lights up by pressing the brake and then the entire taillight flashes when the turn signal is activated, much like the GMT 400 series truck taillights operated? Here is the reason why:

when the left turn signal and brake are activated, then it looks like the first picture, only brighter....

 

 

 

any OEM harness that will do this for me or will I have to figure a way to use the tailight converter that came with my trailer hitch? Thank for any help (I dont want to start splicing unless I know it will work or if I can obtain new harnessess from GM)

Update: I just installed a powered taillight converter, wired it in to the stock harness and grounded it from the battery (where it is getting its power from) and then installed the resistor kit from Super Bright LEDs. Now the truck has full LEDs out back, protected by the power taillight converter and to make sure that the truck retained the stock flashing speed.
