just finished reading an article on the Hummer H3T:

Just wondering if anyone else has fallen in love with this vehicle as much as I have.

I really like it. If it had a 5.3 at least and a 6 speed id buy one.

It's ok, The bed still seems to be to small to be functional since it can't even hold that bike without the tailgate down. It's not bad looking but i'd never buy one. I do miss my H2 alot though, that was a good truck.

It has the 5.3L, doesn't say anything about trans though.

looks alright, I probably wouldnt own one. I hear theyre cutting out the H2 after 2009 sometime, maybe this is a replacement

It's a good rock crawler, Just as the H3.

With front and rear lockers. worth every penny if going off road

I worked at the GM Proving Grounds in Milford, MI for the last four years and have seen the H3T from being a hacked up Prototype to the present unit you see now ready for production. the Prototype was an H3 with a Colorado pickup bed on it and the frame was cut and extended to allow for the pickup bed. sure it's not a full size pickup but for the average small family that wants something sporty and functional with a pickup bed for hauling the H3T is a nice midsize truck in my opinion. It may be my wifes next vehicle when her Impala's lease is up!!! She want's a Tahoe or Yukon but I'll try to talk her into something smaller and easier on gas than a full size SUV because we've already got the 08 Sierra that sucks the fuel and that's bad enough.

Looks pretty cool and you gotta love the approach/departure angles, but I wouldn't really look at it that hard until they put in a diesel (come on, they even have the gull to offer the inline 5 in that thing?)!

I like the look. Plus front and rear lockers would be sweet, I would have to work to get it stuck in snow.

I like the Hummer styling and would've given one a good look if they made a full-sized pickup.
