8.1 / Allison Engine Change

This weekend I am planning to swap an 8.1 and Allison from one truck to another and vice - versa. Both trucks are 8.1 / Allisons with one being a high mileage 2003 3500 Crew Cab Dually and the other being a low mileage 2004 2500HD Regular Cab. My questions are as follows:

 

1. Will I be able to remove the engine and transmission as a complete assembly?

 

2. Will I need to remove the radiator support brackets to clear the assembly?

 

3. Will I need to evacuate the A/C systems?

 

4. Do you know of any problems I might possibly run into?

That is why it has to be done over the weekend! Actually both are company trucks. It's just that no one ever wants to use the regular cab truck so it is always the "spare".
